300 candidates from 15 electoral wards in Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau state have benefitted from a free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB registration, facilitated by the Council’s Chairman, Rims Nimchak.
Langtang South is one of the educationally disadvantaged councils in the State and the gesture by the Council Chairman has been applauded as a step in the right direction.
Speaking in Mabudi, the Council’s headquarters, the Chairman said the gesture was part of his commitment to the educational development in his council stressing, “My commitment toward education has been the propeller driving most of our programmes in my local government.
“As we know that education is the bedrock of any nation, and for us to get rid of social vices and ills in our society, we must train our children. I will continue to do more with few resources for the benefits of my people and make Langtang South great again.”
